We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Human Resource Business Partner. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to partner with two to three BRAC Development Programmes, playing a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's success. From workforce planning and budgeting to employee lifecycle services and performance management, you'll be at the forefront of driving HR excellence.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Conduct annual workforce planning and budgeting to ensure optimal utilisation of HR budget allocation.
  • Develop job descriptions for new positions and conduct primary job evaluations for proper grading and compensation management.
  • Facilitate the annual performance management process, following the entire review cycle to foster accountability and development opportunities for employees.
  • Assist in regular reviews of staff benefits, including salary, overtime analysis, insurance, and incentives, to ensure competitiveness and employee satisfaction.
  • Facilitate approval processes for staff requisitions, transfers, confirmations, and separations, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Support Programme team in developing HR structure, workforce budget, timesheet preparations for new projects in alignment with the donor requirements.
  • Monitor employee turnover, attitudes, and productivity, implementing measures as needed to enhance employee satisfaction and organisational effectiveness.
  • Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends, develop insights, and make data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline, preferably in HRM, Management, Business Administration, or Public Administration. You should also bring at least five to seven years of relevant experience. To excel in this position, you should have a good understanding of HR processes, labour laws, policies, and procedures. Your ability to plan and execute strategic goals will be crucial, along with your aptitude for managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
